Real Property Taxes are due in the Town of Little Compton quarterly on the following dates:

September 15^th

December 15^th

March 15^th

June 15th

Tangible property taxes are due annually on September 15th

The Town Treasurer also serves as the Town’s Tax Collector. The Treasurer is elected every two years at the general election in November. The Town Treasurer’s duties and responsibilities are set by state law and include:

• Financial record keeping,
• The deposit and disbursement of Town funds,
• The power to sign the bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness of the Town,
• Produce an annual report including a statement of expenditures,
• And all other duties imposed by state law.
